Quickscriber - fast, keyboard-driven note taking

Quickscriber is a menu bar notes app built for keyboard-first writers. Press a global shortcut to summon a two-panel window - your notes on the left, a Markdown editor on the right - then press it again to make it disappear.

The interface is driven by searchability. Use search keywords or tag your notes to quickly find and remember what you were thinking.

Keyboard-driven
A global hotkey opens your notes from anywhere. Cmd+B/I/` wrap selections. Arrow keys navigate the list. Everything has a shortcut.

Write in Markdown, see it instantly
Full Markdown editor with live syntax highlighting. Toggle preview to render your notes with marked.js, KaTeX math, and Mermaid diagrams. Export any note to PDF.

Images, tags, and search
Drag-and-drop or paste images directly into notes. Organize with tags and filter by #tag. Full-text search across all titles and bodies.
